Abstract
|
|
|
This study was conducted to investigate the cultural characteristics of a new potato cultivar, Superior at Daegwanryong in 1981 and 1982. The results were as follow.
1. Superior cultivar was comparatively less sensitive than other potato cultivars to excessive moisture in wet soil.
2. Superior cultivar produced higher yield than Irish Cobbler, the leading potato cultivar in Korea, in the early harvest and in barren soil condition.
3. Superior cultivar was moderately resistant to some potato viruses.
